Pi Day, Lacrosse, WA Champs Swim Meet, Around the House, Big Weekend

Do we need a holiday to eat pie?! Yes we do! Pi day - math and pie! Yes please!

Charlotte is really advancing in leaps and bounds in lacrosse this spring. They practice in the cold, and rain, and dark. She is fearless, has a hustle that doesn't quit, and never complains. So proud of her.

So fun to open the mailbox and find the month's Little Passports adventure inside. This month - Egypt - complete with a mini-archeological dig. Thanks, Aunt Deborah!

Reed has organized his desk all on his own (!!!) and set up a command center. He has organized a nightly zoom with friends and they play some games together online while chatting away. It is the cutest thing and I love that he is organizing all of it on his own.

Roller derby girls! Charlotte now has appropriate sized rollerblades which is definitely appreciated.

Love this crew! Edison and I stayed and talked and talked after the others went in to watch Ice Age. Edison is very good company with a lot of interesting ideas and quite a lot of geopolitical and historical knowledge.

Snowing at Stevens! (finally) We enjoyed a full Saturday on the slopes, including warming up in the lodge - revolutionary!!!

Charlotte had the Washington State Champs swim meet Sunday. She was flying! She dropped a lot of time in all three of her events. It was so fun to watch her race!

WACA 2022 and Cabin Weekend

WACA 2022 was back in person and I got to bring the best team! Brett, Brady and Kathy! We learned a ton, presented a bit, got to meet new people, and advance our profession just a little bit. Excited to bring it all back to Shorecrest!

Activities Homegirls! Leigh & Christy!
Reed video-called me a few times during the conference which made my day. I miss him so much when I'm away. What a sweetheart!

From the conference, I went to the cabin. It was fun to head out walking and enjoying all the beautiful vistas of this little town.

More skiing! Another blue bird day on the groomers. Snow was FAST!

Midwinter Break: Skiing and Wineries, Yard Projects Begin, Friend Birthday

I spent Midwinter Break at the cabin, skiing, and with friends. It was cold (1 degree!) but clear skiing - so beautiful and at the start of the week we had fresh snow!

Ran into traffic in Sultan and took a detour north of town, didn't realize it would end up with me crossing the river on this bridge! Doh! Made it!

Avenia, Mark Ryan, and Cave B with Sara, Scott, Dotty, and Sharde! MMMM!

We also got to meet Karen's new additions: Kellan and Kiara! How is it possible for a new mom of twins to pull of a sit down dinner for 12? I have no idea, but that's Karen for you! Mama and babies are doing well!

Reed has learned how to print at the library. He also got his own library card and has a built in weekly printing allowance. He's growing up so fast!

These girls are rollerskating queens! Love that Eva and Sophie are all about the fast wheels!

Game night with the Hass Family. Can you believe the team of Reed & Kellan took first place in the What do you Meme? game?!

Reed made waffles all by himself! He's always adding extra touches like blue food coloring.... :-)

We picked up some beautiful coral bark maple trees to add to our yard. The kids were a huge help with all the yard work!

Charlotte got to celebrate Meira's birthday with a Seattle Day with all the friends. They had a blast!

When you're on a PTSA Zoom call and the cutest bulldog interrupts everything and needs a tickle fest...

This swing - the Swurfer - is still a hit!
