First Seahawks Game! Highlight - Reed and I make it on the Jumbotron with the Lumen Lens QR code and some sweet dance moves to the Venga Boys (no photo evidence, sadly). I had an epiphany recently that if there are things I want to do with my kids... it is now or never. So this week, it was "take them to their first Seahawks game" time. Edison has been to a couple, but it was Charlotte and Reed's first time and I haven't been in many years. We had amazing seats - like I will never again have that great of seats for a game - thanks to buying preseason tickets from friends at work.
It was a really engaging game between the Seahawks and the Raiders for preseason and to kick-off this year's NFL season. We got to welcome former Seahawks coach, Pete Carroll, and QB, Geno Smith to Seattle. Seattle didn't lose - but didn't win either - they ended with a tie 23-23 (no overtime in the preseason). Our seats were so close we could hear the action on the field and it was so exciting when the Seahawks scored touchdowns or got interceptions. It was a wonderful summer night for football in Seattle!
