I kicked off Spring Break with a much-needed getaway to my happy place. The Upper Wenatchee Valley is stunningly green right now and the hillsides are dotted with giant yellow balsam root bouquets. It it magical. I was able to raft the Wenatchee River Saturday and hike a glorious "the hills are alive" kind of trail in the Cashmere Canyons Preserve this morning. Plus: two mornings sleeping in! Heavenly!
