Day 6: We slept in. It felt amazing. We canceled our agenda and just walked the neighborhood near our hotel and stopped into many shops. We bought gifts for the kids and my mom at jadiset gourmande, a fancy chocolate shop. I picked up special chocolate easter eggs for the kids. and I found a nice pair of silver hoop earrings that will always remind me of our trip. James packed up and left in the evening for his flight to Cairo.I spent one more evening in the city, this time going shopping for the perfect gifts and souvenirs to bring home. I am in love with the department store BHV. I got to see the super interesting Stravinsky Fountain, too.
Day 7: I woke Easter morning and packed up. I headed out to the Champs-Elysees to stop at Lacoste, then back on the Metro to the hotel area. I wanted to stop by Notre Dame on Easter, eat one last crepe in Paris, and also walk along the Seine one last time before I headed home. The flight home was pretty smooth, but still a long one at 5000 miles and 10 hours. What a wonderful vacation! I have never experienced anything like this! Thank you to James for being the best travel partner!
