There was a big dual meet Thursday. Charlotte did the javelin for the first time in a meet, enjoyed it, and ended up getting 3rd with a throw of 70'. No other PRs, but solid throws all around: Edison won discus and shot put and Charlotte won the discus. Charlotte banged out a quick leg in the 4x200 meter relay. On Saturday, both of them competed in the Birger Solberg Invitational in Bellingham. Aunt Kathie and Uncle Floyd were able to watch the meet - and did the important job of bringing them sub sandwiches for lunch. Sadie came to both meets, too, earning the title of biggest fan! Edison got a season PR (very close to overall PR) in the discus and won the entire event with a throw of 151'05". He had a solid shot put event. Charlotte threw an impressive 98'04" and earned fourth, barely missing third place by one inch. The Shorecrest girls won the entire meet which was really cool to see. Other fun happening this week: Reed did the Easter Egg Hunt at Sheridan Beach... maybe the last one and went to the Science Fair with Adrian. He also got to go up the Columbia Tower and eat amazing burgers with Kellen for Kellen's birthday!
