Track and Field - Districts Meet & End of Season Team Banquet

Northwest Districts - Day One. Two Events, Two Monster PRs & Two Kids Heading to the State Track Meet! WOW!!!! Charlotte threw 117'9" in the discus and earned third place. Edison threw 45'9" for his PR in the shot put! I can't believe it! Thanks to their awesome coaches for an amazing season, to our Shorecrest and WESCO athletes for their positive attitudes and energy and to everyone at Shoreline Stadium for putting on the meet! Day two is Friday and we will get to watch Edison throw the discus.

Day Two of Districts - Edison had a very consistent series of throws in the Discus to earn 2nd place and another state event. His top throw today was 149'9". It wasn't the giant break out throw he is hoping for, but there is another chance for that at the State Meet. Onward!

The Track and Field Team Banquet was this past week. It was a great night to recognize the accomplishments of the team, thank the coaches, and bid farewell to their senior teammates. Edison was recognized as a superstar Sophomore and Charlotte was awarded female thrower of the year for the team. WOW!
