We survived torrential rains, chilly 55F degree temps, and my leading a national-level presentation for an online Activities Coordinator conference Saturday morning, and ended up having a fabulous Girls Weekend with Rebecca and Rachelle out at the cabin. We did up Leavenworth in a slight drizzle, capping off the fun of shopping for lovely things we definitely do not need, with a nice meal at the Sleeping Lady Lodge and a stop at Eagle Creek winery. We made mama versions of Tik Toks on the bridge, because, Why Not?! We had lots of hot tub time, deep conversation, shared affirming support, and there was much laughter. We woke up Sunday morning to glorious blue skies and a fresh, rain-soaked forest. We hiked Merritt Lake, up the steep Nason Ridge, on Sunday morning before joining the traffic on Highway 2 to come home. Love having these amazing ladies in my life!
