Dave and Buster's Date with Reed, Halloween, and Granddaddy Votes

On a night that Charlotte had a sleepover and Edison was with Sadie, Reed and I decided to go out and have fun. He got to pick, so we ended up doing dinner at the mall food court followed by time at the Dave & Buster's Arcade and visits to hat, sneaker, and video game stores in the mall. It was really good to spend a night together just the two of us and I hope to do it again soon.

The last time I visited my dad, I brought his ballot and he voted for the Harris-Walz ticket! So did I! Fingers crossed!
The kids were at their dad's for Halloween, but at least I got to see a few pictures. I'm glad they're all still dressing up. Edison & Sadie re-enacted a famous scene from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. Charlotte was Elmo and her friends were other Sesame Street Characters. Reed was an alien and had an inflatable costume for the first time.
We've had some big events at school, including going to visit Brett at Monroe for his Homecoming Assembly and then co-hosting the WESCO Fall Leadership Conference for 700 students with our counterparts at Shorewood and King's. The conference went well and we have some ideas to make it even better next year! I was so impressed with my student planning team for pulling it all together on a tight timeline!
