My students in Intro to Leadership Class (including Charlotte) planned a "Care Week" and "Be the Change Assembly for this week. It has been a number of years since we've pulled this off. They did a great job. This is one of my favorite weeks at Shorecrest. It’s a time to celebrate and affirm our core community values. I’m so proud of my Intro to Leadership students for organizing the entire week, including the Assembly! Special shoutout to my daughter, Charlotte for helping to plan & emcee her first assembly!! This is from the Shorecrest social media post:
Shorecrest Care Week 2024 was a huge success! So many events and so many caring staff and students participating.
"Let's keep the good vibes going at Shorecrest! We love this school and we care about each other - so let's make sure to reflect this in our actions!"
Speaking of keeping the good vibes going, the Senior Handprint Wall lives on! Thanks to all of the volunteer Shorecrest parents who helped out.
The Shorecrest community would like to send out a special thank you to Johanna Phillips. She tirelessly commits herself to our students and staff and all of her wonderful work shows all our school. Ms. Phillips, YOU ARE AMAZING!
