Last minute getaway to Hansville to join Rachelle Mitchell and Trent Mitchell at The Mitchell Cabin. It is a 20 minute ferry ride and a 20 minute drive to the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula & Hood Canal, but it is a world away from the hot city. The wonderful smells of the salt water and the lush forest permeate everything. We had a big adventure day yesterday - throwing down over 10 miles hiking around the woods and beaches of the peninsula, paddle boarding a couple miles up to the Driftwood Keys Marina, and then capped it off with a chill session at the pool. I’m so fortunate to be able to spend this time with friends in these amazing places. WOW! Rachelle and Trent are really fabulous hosts and dinner was amazing. I was on the 8:20 ferry and home at 9:00. Boom, boom!
