I’d wanted to go climb a little mountain…. I drove 20 miles on dirt roads to get to the trail head for Colonel Bob Peak. But it had rained so hard the trail was a creek. I gave up half a mile in and drove out to the coast- this time further south, to Copalis Beach. Flat and sandy with dunes- quite different than the more rugged coast up north where I was Saturday. Beautiful in its own way. Follow your sunshine!!!
