You know how some friends just bring out the best in you and you find yourself having multiple belly laughs while doing nothing other than just living life? I'm so lucky to be friends with Katie Hass!
The last couple summers we’ve planned fun getaway with the Hass family and this time we stepped it up from camping to a sweet cabin. The cabin is beautifully done and the deck is so nice to lounge on - perfect temps out here and no bugs. We are in the little community of Cave Bay on the western side of the lake. There is a community beach and marina and the best way to get there is to drive the golf cart around. Some of the best memories of this vacation will be the golf cart rides and teaching Reed and Charlotte to drive it.
On Saturday we explored downtown Couer d’Alene, had a delicious lunch at Crafted, checked out some thrift shops, and hung out at City Park beach. It is a super cute area with some really thoughtfully done small businesses.
