We spent an awesome Labor Day weekend with the Kurcinkas - floating the river and going to Lake Wenatchee. It was really wonderful for Reed to wake up at the cabin with his friend Owen on the morning of his 11th birthday! We had a yummy pancake breakfast (shoutout, Betsy!) that morning. Back in LFP that night, Reed picked Northgate Red Robin for dinner and the servers came and sang to him, which mortified Charlotte. That is where I worked in college, so it was fun to be there with the kids. Reed picked out a “burger” birthday cake - because that’s what you do when you’re 11! Finally, on Monday, we were able to gather with my family and celebrate all the summer birthdays for the “boys of summer”: Floyd, Edison, Isaac, Alex, Jason, and Reed!
