We hopped on the "fun bus" for a field trip today to the WESCO student leadership training with Scott Backovich and the Envolve program! It was a phenomenal day for growing the concept of activities for connection and thinking about how to meet students where they’re at. My leaders are energized to bring these ideas back to Shorecrest!! Shout out to Meadowdale for hosting us! Thank you so much Scott Backovich for sharing your incredible enthusiasm, passion, and expertise with us today! You ROCK!!!
Not pictured - waiting 40 minutes for our bus to arrive to bring us home, it came even after the host school had their entire school dismissal and missing our school's dismissal time, by 5 minutes, too. Had to practice patience and quick thinking to try to get our students home!
